Trip to Columbus

We had such a great time visiting the Elmer Family in Columbus!! There was some wrestling...

And some yummy food! Despite the look on Landon's face he loves this breakfast! The Elmer's call them "Poppy Pancakes" we call them "Pannekoeken" or "Crepes". YUM!!

Amanda and I sewed a bit and got some projects done. The kids did a few artsy things and played outside quite a bit. Contrary to what the next two pictures would lead you to believe, we didn't get much sleep due to all the excitement and fun!

We also ate Jenny's Ice Cream. It was pretty darn good, but also super expensive! $10 a pint!! We went on a trip to COSI (that post is coming tomorrow) and here is just a peek at the kids favorite part. This was the world of PROGRESS. You started out in a early 1900's town. Then moved into different eras. The kids loved the 1950-60's. It was a super fun day!
One thing is for sure! It reminded us how much we loved living close to each other and how much we miss it now!!
