BUSY!

Let's see if I can actually finish a post this morning! I've started a couple, over the past couple days, didn't like the way they were going because I was too distracted while writing them, so I erased them. My dad has mentioned a couple times how I need to update my blog, so I'm going to try to squeeze it in first thing this morning. (Ella likes to play pirates with the older kids. She's a pretty awesome Captain Hook!)

We've been a bit busy lately. I feel like every day is just a constant flow from one thing to another. I don't really like that very much. I like it when we can just stay home, Grant gets his nap, and we can just relax in the afternoon. I'm looking forward to summer, in hopes that our routine will include more 'hanging out' at home. Steven and I are in the midst of re-doing our kitchen. I'm SO excited to get it done. Right now all of our cabinet doors are off, and that's driving me crazy. It made me realize that I really need to clean out my cupboards!! I'm HOPING to have it done by Monday. My mom is coming on Monday, and I'd love to have the kitchen done and back in order when she gets here. It's going to be a long process though, and I don't feel like I can get much done during the day because, one-I haven't been home that much, and two-I have four little ones who thinks the world will end if they're not in the same room as me.(When I was in high school (and even now), I NEVER would have thought to take a picture of myself with my camera, however, now that we have digital cameras, it seems like everyone is snapping pictures of themselves. Addie is no exception. There are probably 6 or more pictures on my camera that she took of herself!)

The kids have been living out side lately. If there's a minute of free time, they're outside. I LOVE it. I don't however love how filthy they are afterwards. Seriously, this was my tub one night last week after their bath. They were so dirty that as we were cleaning up the yard and putting bikes away, the wind was blowing and dust was blowing off of Landon! LITERALLY! It doesn't help that they were playing a game where they would take a handful of dirt, pretend like they were magicians, and throw the dirt in the air and watch it blow away (usually all over them!). (Do we really need 3 pictures of my dirty tub? No, but I wanted to make sure everyone got a good look at how filthy my kids are!)

Well, now it's time for me to jump in the shower. I have 4 kids to get ready, Landon has to catch the bus in 35 minutes, I have two visiting teaching appointments this morning, an appointment with the allergist for Landon, grocery shopping to do, Easter shopping to do, a hair appointment this evening, AND a kitchen to finish!!! So I better get busy!
