Niagara Falls

The day school got out we loaded everyone up and headed to Columbus. We stayed the night at the Elmer's house and bright and early the next day we headed out for Niagara Falls. And look how cute Addie and Grant were snuggled up together!
Luckily, we had a good drive ahead of us, because some of us needed to catch up on some of our sleep.
And we were lucky enough to have this handsome fellow driving us around. Sometimes I can't believe how lucky I am to be married to someone so unbelievably handsome anyway...
We had these two tagging along in the back and they were great traveling partners!

And for some reason Landon became obsessed with this helmet and wore it most of our trip!
And Grant and Miles were so happy to be reunited and were the cutest little friends!
We stopped about half way to Niagara Falls for lunch and found this great rock pile the kids could climb on while we made sandwiches and got the picnic together.
Once we got there, we were all happy to be out of the car, but for some reason, Addie was too tired to walk, but Grampy was happy enough to give her a lift.
And I was so happy with this great picture of James and Maya, but once I looked closer, I thought it was SO hilarious that it looks like a mini-Ender is riding on Maya's back!
Miles photo-bombed this picture of Hannie and Grant, but he sure is cute!!
I am in love with this picture of Landon. He is getting too big!!
And, don't judge us, but we were 'those people' who put their kids on leashes. Mom gave the kids a lecture about how if they fell over the edge there would be NO getting them back, EVER. So I'm not sure the leashes were necessary because the kids were kind of scared about getting too close, but they sure put the adults minds at ease. Casey, who speaks Spanish, overhears some people talking, in Spanish, about how we had our children on leashes like dogs. But you know what, if we didn't have the younger ones on leashes, people would have been judging us because we couldn't keep track of them all. So, let the judge!
Not the best picture, but it's a family shot none the less (minus at least 2 people- Mom and Amanda.)

There was a lot of mist, and we didn't all have passports, so we couldn't go over to the Canadian side, but it was still a remarkable view!
These two cuties were happy to pose for me!

After we got a good view of the Falls, we spent quite a while on this hill letting the kids run and roll down to their hearts content.

Once the kids had their fill of rolling down the hill we took a trolley ride around then loaded back up in the car and went the 2 more hours on to Palmyra.
