Always a party (and if you're lucky, it's a DANCE party!!)

So we had quite a good time at my parents house last weekend. We just hung out, enjoyed each other's company, swam a ton (is that the past tense of swim? swam? Humm...you know what I mean), and of course had a dance party/contest (or two). We were all pleasantly surprised at what a good little dancer Brad was. And I'm not sure James danced (the second party) because he was doing the music! Here are some high-lights (and luckily, I was taking pictures, so no one took pictures of me doing my pregnant belly shakin' dance!)
GrampyAmandaHannieMy 7 year old cousin Jenna, who won, because that girl really can dance!!Nana and GrantWe all learned that Jenna got her moves from her dad when Scott came dancin' in!The Harward kids bustin' a move!Brad and JessicaSteven creeping Jessica out by trying to get her to dance.

Overall I'd say it was a successful dance party, with a cute 7 year old putting us all in our place! Other than the dance parties, the kids (mainly the two older kids) had a blast swimming and playing outside (which is why I don't have many pictures of them. I kept forgetting to take my camera out with me). James taught Landon how to swim (even though he had been in swim lessons for the past two weeks, James made more progress with him in that couple days than swim lessons did!) Landon can now go down their slide and swim to the edge in the deep end, and swim across the pool from side to side! Jessica help make Addie a bit braver. She would actually jump in the pool without her floaties on, and would let Jessica walk around the pool with her! Grant had fun snuggling with GrampySmooching Nana (who is his favorite person after his dad and Grampy is a close second!)Playing with MilesOr fighting with Miles if Miles would get his lovey (it was funny because there were a couple times when Grant would take something away from Miles, so we'd say "Miles, look, here's Grant's lovey, and Grant would drop whatever it was he was playing with and run full speed to get his lovey before Miles could get it. He's pretty protective of that thing!)And laughing at Miles when I fixed his hair to look like a girl! And just because I'm getting tired and wanting to wrap this up, here's a few last random pictures. Then we had to come home and back to real life, but we're excited that Nana is coming to visit tomorrow!!!

Did you each have to select your own music or did you just wing it? I can't quite figure out what kind of dance that is that Steven was doing, but I don't blame Jessica for being creeped out!
