The funny part though, is that on the bed in that same room, Steven was like this-
Like father like daughter!!
We did quite a bit of baking. Amanda and the girls made cookies one day.
We did a family tree craft (thanks to Steven's mom for the awesome gift!)
Grant got sick while we were there. About 5 minutes after the picture below was taken, Grant threw up all over my mom!!
We had planned to take the kids to the children museum, but with Grant being sick and Amanda and Casey's little Ender being sick, Mom and Dad just took the oldest 5 kids. The big kids were THRILLED to go and have a great time with Nana and Grampy!! They came home with a little robotic bug they made (similar to hex-bugs you can buy) and all sorts of exciting things to tell us about recycling!!
Look closely at the picture above! It didn't come on Christmas day, but Landon is FINALLY getting his two front teeth!! He actually did tell me that he wanted his two front teeth for Christmas and a day or two after Christmas one poped through. Hope the other one follows quickly. He had those two teeth pulled August of 2010!! He's been toothless for a LONG time!
We took the kids over to the church to play a couple times. Amanda's kids got roller skates for Christmas and then Casey found another pair and a couple pairs of Rollerblades at Goodwill, so the kids were all able to really get a lot of practice! On Christmas morning, my dad gets a little prize and wraps the used wrapping paper around it and tapes it all up. Then, the kids later in the week, play a game to unwrap it. The person on the left of the person holding the wrapping paper ball rolls a die. When they roll a 6 they have to pass the ball and die. So, when you have the ball, you want to rip as much paper off as you can before that person rolls a 6. Who ever gets to the middle of the ball gets the prize.Addie got the prize this year. Which was bag of chocolate gold coins.
And I can't finish up my Christmas posts without posting a picture of the Santa my dad carved this year for me. As I mentioned before on here, every year my dad carves and paints me a new Santa. This year my little guy is digging in his bag of toys. I think he's SO cute!! It was a GREAT Christmas and we're so sad it's over!!!

That picture of Steven cracks me up! I love that he has to have two blankets stragetically placed to cover his entire length. Daron sleeps with the pillow over his head...but he also sleeps with a breathing machine so he has a fresh supply of oxygen under the pillow. I can't breath when I have something over my face like that!
