Endure

We spent Monday night sitting on the highest level of the elementary school bleachers listening to all the second graders and then third graders sing about cooperation, responsibility, and trees. Landon didn't want to go (because he had to wear a white shirt, which, for him, happened to be his church shirt, and that was obviously asking too much), and to be honest, the rest of us didn't really want to go.

By the end, after we were stuffed on the hot bleachers, trying to keep Ella from climbing on all the strangers around us, hearing the music teacher talk for what seemed like an eternity between each song, and sitting through the third graders songs, even though we don't have a third grader, we all looked and felt a bit like this:
